What You Ask

Your question goes to Mochi Math’s server, which passes it through the Vercel AI Gateway to an AI model that writes the answer: one from OpenAI, or, when that is unavailable, one from Anthropic or DeepSeek. TypeSafe AI’s Jev model also reads it, to check that it is about science, technology, engineering, maths, or code. Each provider handles your question under its own terms. Mochi Math’s server doesn’t keep it.

Please don’t type anything personal, such as your name, where you live, or a password.

Reporting an Answer

If you tell Mochi-sensei something is wrong with an answer, your question, the answer, and anything you write about it are stored privately so the mistake can be fixed. Nothing else about you is kept with the report, and it is deleted once it has been looked at.

On Your Device

The last 30 answers you finished are saved in your browser’s local storage, so you can open them again without asking twice. They stay on your device, and “Clear history” in the history menu removes them.

The question you’re on is also part of the page’s address, so you can share it. Anyone you send that link to can see the question.

Visits and Speed

Vercel Web Analytics counts page visits and how answers end, such as finished or interrupted, and Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load, all without cookies. Your question is removed from the page’s address before any of it is sent.

Children

Mochi Math is built to be safe for learners of any age. There are no accounts, ads, or profiles, nothing follows you to other sites, and it never asks where you are. Younger learners should use it with a parent, carer, or teacher, and shouldn’t type anything that says who they are.

Keeping Bots Out

Vercel BotID runs a check in your browser to tell people apart from automated programs, and the Vercel Firewall counts questions from each IP address to limit how many one network can ask.
